Eriksen Set to Face Slovenia in Denmark's Euro 2024 Opener

Christian Eriksen, 32, is set to make his international comeback for Denmark when they face Slovenia in their opening Euro 2024 group game in Stuttgart on Sunday.

The match will be Eriksen's first competitive appearance for his country since he collapsed on the pitch during Denmark's opening game of Euro 2020 against Finland. He has since recovered from a cardiac arrest and is playing for Manchester United.

Eriksen's return is a major boost for Denmark, who are looking to improve on their semi-final finish at Euro 2020. They will be hoping to get off to a winning start against a Slovenia side who are ranked 65th in the world.

The match will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart and will kick off at 5pm BST. It will be broadcast live on ITV and RTE.
