Euro 2024 Qualifiers: Road to Germany Begins

Kick-off for 53 Nations

The much-anticipated road to EURO 2024 officially commenced in March 2023, with 53 nations vying for a place in Germany next summer. The UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying tournament will run until March 2024, with the play-offs for the remaining finals places taking place later that year.

Groups and Draw

The 53 teams were drawn into 10 groups, with the top two finishers in each group automatically qualifying for the finals. The third-placed teams will compete in play-offs for the three remaining spots.

Teams to Watch

Several top European teams are expected to qualify for EURO 2024, including the reigning champions Italy, world champions France, and perennial contenders Spain. However, there are also a number of emerging teams to watch, such as Hungary, Ukraine, and Scotland.

Road to the Finals

The qualifying campaign will be a tough test for all the teams involved. The group stage will conclude in November 2023, with the play-offs scheduled for March 2024. The top 23 teams, including hosts Germany, will then advance to the finals in Germany.
